Linking Quality Early Learning Services to Positive School Readiness Outcomes for All Children
Quality Connections seeks to empower school readiness providers to offer high quality early learning experiences for children being served in their centers. Quality Connections is based on a system of environment assessments, technical assistance and guidance based on gaps indicated by the assessments, and on going professional support.

In order to achieve this program objective, ELC of Duval has set measurable outcomes, based on the Infant /Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS) © and the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS) ©. Pre assessments are completed on a rolling timeline during July through September, and post assessments are completed during March through June. Trained Early Childhood Education Specialists use the pre assessments in select classrooms and provide technical assistance and guidance to the teachers.
